TOKYO (Reuters) - The United States will overtake Russia as the world’s biggest oil producer by 2019 at the latest, the International Energy Agency (IEA) said on Tuesday, as the country’s shale oil boom continues to upend global markets. The United States, Russia, and Saudi Arabia still remain the top three highest oil-producing countries in the world according to the latest report by The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). Russia has the largest reserves and is the largest exporter of natural gas. It has the second largest coal reserves, the eighth largest oil reserves, and is one of the largest producers of oil. It is the third largest energy user. Rosneft is Russia's biggest oil company, with reported production of about 1.5 billion barrels in 2014. The company also ranks as Russia's third biggest natural gas company, with production amounting to more than 345 million barrel of oil equivalents (BOE).
