When I tried to create Stock keeping unit batch for all engineers (0..999999), Nav created SKU's for all items in all locations existing in the system. All deleted now thankfully. Ideally, setting up multiple locations via item card would be great but I'm not sure if this is possible. A stockkeeping unit is in Navision a combination of Item number, Location Code and Variant Code, and it enables you to specify certain values based on those proprties. You also need to have stockkeeping units enabled to take advantage of some functionality. "Stock keeping unit" is abbreviated SKU. It should make sense to you as "SKU".
